Clark-Mabalacat Solemnize their 12th Anniversary as
“A City of World Peace” – A PILGRIMAGE PRAYER FOR WORLD PEACE

CLARK-MABALACAT – a group of Japanese officials, businessman and war veterans led by Japanese Ambassador Hiroyuki Yushita are slated to presides over the homage of the 12th Anniversary of the Declaration of Clark-Mabalacat as “A City of World Peace” on the 25th of October 2009, Sunday 0700HR under the guidance of the Great Buddhist Bishop of Japan, his eminence Ekan Ikeguchi at the Goddess of World Peace Shrine, Lily Hill, Clark Freeport. Thereupon, of the aforesaid commemoration will be the Kamikaze West and East Airfield Memorial solemn prayer, visitation and memorial notes at Babang Dapo, Ammo Dump Area, Clark Field and Barangay Cacutud, Mabalacat. This will be spearheaded by the Tokkotai Peace Memorial Association Officials.

The traditional wreath-laying ceremony will be led by the following prominent officials and guests namely: Hon. Mayor Marino P. Morales- Municipal Mayor, Mabalacat, Pampanga, Mr. Franco L.A. Madlangbayan- CDC VP Operations Group, Mr. Koji Nakamura- World Peach Campaign, Mr. Satoru Euda- Tajima-Jin Project, Mr. Kouji Hirashima-Tokushukai Medical Corp. and Tokkotai Peace Memorial Association. Mayor Morales and Mr. Madlangbayan will also threshold the welcoming remarks.

The Mabalacat Tourism Office headed by Guy Hilbero and Clark Development Corporation range and straightens out this annual observance of world peace campaign and acts of remembrance to advocate and plead for peace on earth and goodwill to mankind.

This annual world peace campaign remain supported and cooperated by distinguish organizations, departments and offices such as the: CDC Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office, 600th Air Base Wing, Philippine Air Force, World Peace Campaign Foundation, Tokkotai Commemoration & Peace Memorial Association, Kiwanis Club of Angeles City, Rotary Club of Mabalacat, Mabalacat Bonsai Society, Liberty Duty Free Shop, Mabalacat Aeta Tribal Association, Haduan Tourism Council, ACCTN/PEP-TV, Philippine Children’s Fund of America, 17th RATSG ARC, Philippine Air Force, 103rd AOW, Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary, Municipal Council for the Promotion of Culture and Arts, Kalye Lakandula Gallery, Mabalacat Police Department, DWGV-FM/AM Radio, CDC Public Safety Department Traffic Division, Mabalacat Traffic Management Enforcement Group and Mabalacat Water District.
