PhilExport, MarQuee Mall present holiday furniture fair starting Dec.1

The Philippine Exports Region 3 and MarQuee Mall present The Gift of Crafts: A Special Holiday Furniture Fair, an event that will showcase the best and newest products made in the region starting December 1 to 10 at the MarQuee Mall Activity Center.

Philippine Exports Region 3 President Randy Viray gave a list of the participating exhibitors namely Vivere Lifestyles Co., Inc., More Than A Chair, Inc., Country Accents, A Garcia Crafts, Inc., South Sea Veneer Corp., Asia Ceramics, Furnitureville, Inc., Philiana Designs, Orient Deco Furniture Manufacturing, Inc., Calfurn Manufacturing Phils.

The fair is part of PhilExports’ campaign for its upcoming permanent showroom inside Clark Freeport Zone. The group recently inked a memorandum of agreement the Clark Development Corp. (CDC) for its permanent exhibits that will start next year.

The Gift of Crafts is also one of MarQuee’s Christmas treats for Kapampangans and the rest of Central Luzon this season. Other great treats include The Giving Tree, a special activity that encourages everyone to purchase a wishing ball that gives P50 to Angeles City Special Education Center; The Santa Gives Glee corner where children can meet and greet Santa every weekend of December at the Activity Center; and CHRISTMAS AT MARQUEE PARK, an event that is full of fun, entertainment and performances that will be held all Wednesdays of December, every 7 p.m. onwards. This event also features Weekend Market.

Other treats by MarQuee include The Christmas Shopping Bag, a project for the benefit of Habitat for Humanity. This allows shoppers have their Christmas Shopping Bag by presenting receipts from MarQuee while a P5.00 peso donation goes to Habitat for Humanity. Redemption is from December 1 to 31, 2009 at the MarQuee Concierge. And there is also the Lantern Fair, a special week of lights and artistry as the mall presents Pampanga’s Giant Parols light up at the MarQuee Park from December 20 to 21. The Star Magic group will also sparkle the Christmas holidays on December 18 at the Activity Center.
