Mayor “Boking” Morales lighted the 1ST giant Christmas tree and Aircraft Park at Clark Air Base
CLARK AIR BASE, Mabalacat- a week before Christmas, Philippine Air Force with the association of the LGU Mabalacat rolled out the ceremonial lightning of the Giant Christmas Tree at Air Force City, Clark Air Base. The 1st Giant Christmas Tree of the Air Force City and the Aircraft Park were lighted by Mayor “Boking” P. Morales, Municipal Mayor of Mabalacat, Pampanga last December 15, 2009, 5:30pm at the Air Force City Aircraft Park, Clark Air Base.
Together with Mayor Morales were MGEN. Arthur P. Mancenido, Chairman and Council of Commanders and MGEN. Lino Horacio E. Lapinid, Commander, 1st AD.
Prior the lightning was the field mass at Aircraft Park led by Major Gilbert R. Licudan, Base Chaplain of the Philippine Air Force, and then followed by the welcome remarks of MGEN. Lino Horacio E. Lapinid, Commander, 1st AD. A short Christmas message was stated by MGEN. Arthur P. Mancenido, Chairman and Council of Commanders.
After the ceremonial lightning of the Giant Christmas Tree and lightning of the Aircraft Park, sparkling and aerial fireworks have been displayed and were viewed by the public. (Story by: Clarence E. Flores)
