Deco Central opened last February 12 with the presence of Clark Development Corp. President Benny Ricafort; Luis Sicat, PhilExport national trustee; Teresa Carlos, SMED Council Pampanga chairperson; Randy G. Viray, PhilExport R3 president; Leni Abella, PhilExport vice president for promotions; Myrna Bituin, PhilExport national trustee for furniture; and all the members of the board of PhilExport Region 3.
Deco Central is a one-stop establishment where buyers can conveniently shop for the latest selections of high quality products that local furniture and home furnishings and accessories sectors have to offer.
Located along the C.M. Recto Highway , Clark Freeport Zone, beside Puregold Duty Free Shop, Deco Central projects the unified spirit of world-class Kapampangan exporters that have made a mark in the furniture industry.
At least 20 renowned furniture manufacturers and exporters will have permanent shows at Deco Central, the most apt venue where these companies can launch their new products that are likewise being offered in the world market.

Deco Central is managed by the PhilExport R3. It is open Monday to Sunday from 10:00 am till 7:00 p.m. Custom made furniture may also be negotiated with the locators.
MarQuee Mall, the favorite gathering place in Central Luzon , is joining the 15th Philippine Hot Air Balloon in Clark on February 11 to 14. The most-awaited February event is one of the biggest annual festivities inside the Clark Freeport Zone that has been drawing tens of thousands of spectators and tourists from all over the world.
Norie Ubalde-Raniel, deputy general manager of MarQuee Mall, said this is the first time that Ayala Malls will be joining the hot air balloon fest in which they have lined-up exciting activities and treats for all.
MarQuee Mall will showcase its own hot air balloon from February 11 to 14 that will be offered to the public for rides and photo shoots. The fun balloon ride is best for families, especially for children, who are expected to flock at the hot air balloon fiesta.
“We are really excited on the hot air balloon fest because this is one of the most-celebrated festivals in the country. We want our clients and patrons to have fun and enjoy the Valentine holiday at the festival. Hope to see you all there and join the MarQuee Mall balloon riders,” Ubalde-Raniel said.
MarQuee Mall shoppers can have a chance to get one (1) FREE ticket to ride the MarQuuee Mall tethered hot air balloon by presenting a single purchase receipt of P1,000 from any store at MarQuee Mall and Trinoma from February 1 to 14.
Receipts acquired from Metro Supermarket and Department Store in MarQuee Mall and Landmark Supermarket and Department Store in Trinoma are also included in the promo. Validation and redemption of passes will be at the MarQuee Mall booth on site (Hot Air Balloon Fiesta venue at Clark Freeport Zone).
And to better serve the public, there will also be a free shuttle with regular trips from MarQuee Mall to the Hot Air Balloon site and vice versa. The 15th Philippine Hot Air Balloon Fiesta will also have its launching at the mall on January 29. The 15th Hot Air Balloon Fest is a joint project of the Philippine Hot Air Balloon company led by Capt. Joy Roa, Clark International Airport and the Clark Development Corp. (CDC).
More Events
There are other exciting treats at the mall for the whole month of February. For those celebrating Valentine’s Day, MarQuee Mall will have the Harana Series at the MarQuee Park while there will also be petal drop that will surely delight everyone.
Another treat that would make the Valentine’s Day extra special and memorable at the mall is the Pose N’ Print Photo Booth. Shoppers can have fun taking pictures and can have souvenirs of their precious time at MarQuee Mall on February 14.
Since February is the month for culture and arts, the National Commission for Culture and Arts (NCCA) will also feature a leg of the Philippine International Arts Festival 2010 Ani ng Sining sa Ayala at the MarQuee Mall on February 20.

CLARK FREEPORT— The sprawling, unadulterated panoramic view of Clark Freeport Zone, formerly known as Clark Air Base hosted Saturday’s gigantic event. A never-before-done festivity, led by Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri and actress/world class equestrienne Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski, enlivened the hype of the 1st Annual Clark Freeport Horse Festival!

Aside from Zubiri and Conjuangco-Jaworski, horse-breeders, owners, trainers, aficionados, and cowboy wannabes joined the kicked-off of the festival highlighted by the parade of horses that started from the entrance of El Kabayo ground to Parade Ground in front of the business headquarters of Clark Development Corporation.
The three-day Horse Fest 09’ in the country holds simultaneous horse exhibitions and other related activities in one vast, sweeping landscape inside the Freeoport Zone.
The event was a joint collaboration of Greater Clark Visitors Bureau (GCVB), Clark Freeport Tourism Association (CFTA), and CDC, GCVB President Jun Cruz said.
The Horse Fest 09’ is a prestigious event which is expected to draw and attract crowds of all ages not only from Manila but also from adjacent cities and provinces that will surely boost tourism and business in Clark Freeport and its sub-zones, Cruz said.
Aside from equestrian activities, Horse Fest 09’ is also hosting Trade Fair and Food Festival. Booths are available for coking demonstrations, selling, and sampling, the best of Pampanga’s sumptuous cuisine guaranteeing to meet the attendees’ gastronomic delight, thus, highlighting Kapampangan’s rich culinary expertise.
Cruz said that simultaneous activities are open to the public are Magic shows, Puppet Shows, Family games and Contests, including the setting up booths for free lesson on horse feeding and grooming as well as basic horseback riding for kids.
The 4-day Great Clark Sale takes place at the same time on various establishments within Clark Zone and selected outlets outside the vicinity. The 4-day Great Clark Sale will run from November 27-30.
The 3-day extravaganza also commenced after the grand parade of horses which held Polo and Horse Exhibitions.
There will be display of fireworks will highlight the first day of festivities.
Horse shows and exhibitions will resume Sunday (today) in the second day of the event as well as the staging of Tillbury or Harness racing. Awarding of winners will transpire at night capping the momentous event.
