Tribu Express

Tribu Express Fried Chicken

The beeping sound of jeepneys traversing mightily along the streets of Angeles City plus the mob of people hurrying towards intersecting directions might tell you something about the place’s biz and buzz, as it tries to roam around the four corners of development. Proof to this phenomenon, long lines of establishments, particularly those that cater to the needs of a lion-hungry Angeleno, are very much seen. And just recently, the opening of one food establishment in the city added to its line-up of word-class restaurants and food chains.

Tribu Express Fried Chicken and Inasal, which is situated right in the heart of Angeles City (McArthur Highway in Balibago), had its grand opening last May 25. Originally a Pinoy restaurant in San Francisco, California, the restaurant opened a branch here in Angeles to provide Kapampangan foodies with sumptuous and mouth-watering dishes.

The restaurant offers a wide array of Chicken dishes from their best-selling treat Chicken Inasal and fried chicken to their orally-fixating grilled liempo. They also serve the famous Kapampangan pork sisig and a version of this local favorite that uses tuna as an alternative.

And if that won’t quite fill your appetite just yet, try their other local treats like their fillling crispy pata. If you want to go a little on the healthier side but still want to get filled up, you can munch on their fish fillet rice, or their tasty bagoong rice might just feed your cravings.

Accentuating these heavy meals are veggie meals like grilled talong (eggplant), garlic kangkong, eggplant enchilada, and grilled onion and tomato.

Completing the ensemble are sugar-aiders like pitchi-pitchi, bobo cha-cha (their version of halo-halo) and turon sundae.

Tet Punzalan, a teacher and a regular costumer of the restaurant said that the meals that they serve are ‘masarap’ and the customer service is great.

This compliment is highly-reinforced by Wilson Santos, operations consultant of Tribu Express as he said that customer service satisfaction is one of their priorities, aside from the dishes that they provide.

The good thing is that the meals are affordable, just perfect for ordinary Angelenos who just want to experience great tasting dishes without having to pay some big cash.

Now there is another reason why you have to go out and explore the great place that is Angeles City.
