Brilliance would be the most apt word for Benson Lightings of the City of San Fernando. Believe it or not, the company has a new light design with a shell made of garlic skin. Yes, bawang.

It is not an everyday experience to be warmed by a lighting made of garlic skin. And you can only see these magnificent creations at Salt Coffee Shop inside Hotel Vida.

The first time I stepped in at Salt Coffee Shop, I fell in love immediately. I am a self-declared minimalist. I value space and the more simple it gets, the better for me. And Salt is just what I need for a dining refuge.

The coffee shop is very simple but cozy and elegant. Lighted by original Kapampangan garlic shell bulbs that are exhibited in different spherical shapes and sizes, the place further soothes the senses because of the earth coloured furniture and interior decorations.

No wonder Salt’s famous Ceasar Salad smoothly melts in the mouth given the coffee shop’s relaxing ambience.

Malt Bar, on the other hand, is the newest spot for everyone who wants to relax and unwind after a stressful day at work or would just like to have a nightcap with friends.

“At Malt, we have exclusive concoctions like the booze clues and more. We also serve tasty appetizers, filling sandwiches, yummy pizza, and pasta. The bar is open 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. So it is not really correct to say that you can’t find a good hang-out inside Clark after midnight. See, we are open as long as you want our booze,” Flores said.
