An afternoon of delightful music, poetry and Kapampangan culture is what SM City Pampanga brought last Sunday. A day dedicated to the celebration of Kapampangan songs and poetry and the launching of Pampanga’s Best Bossa and Bossa Pampanga, an album produced and put together by the talented Andy Alviz, who also founded ArtiSta.Rita and Maarti.
Bossa Pampanga features songs like O Kaka by Pot Romero; Dalumdum Ning Bengi by Jumbo Tayag; Inyang Malati Ku by Ging Pineda; Malagung Kakung Palsintan by Jonas David; O Patag A Bunduk by Izza; and Atsing Rusing by Joe Velez.
Meanwhile, last Sunday’s event was graced by Kapampangan Poeta Laureados, Imaarti, ArtiSta.Rita, Benny Guintu, Angie Hizon, City of San Fernando Mayor Oscar Rodriguez and more. But the highlight of the event was Jonas David’s singing of his Kapampangan R&B hit Sinta and Ara Muna’s exciting performance with his nationwide hit piece O Jo Kaluguran Da Ka! The Maarti and ArtiSta.Rita sang few songs with Andy Alviz singing his own bossa Kapampangan. (Story and photos by Trends and Spots)
