Get connected! SM City Pampanga launched their wi-fi service.
It is hot! Take a spot! And connect to the dot! SM City Pampanga is now a wi-fi hot spot. You can connect to the internet anywhere inside the mall. You can pick a spot anywhere and there is no need to check on stores that offer wi-fi service. All you have to do is bring your notebooks or laptops, step inside the mall and get connected instantly.
SM City Pampanga and PhilCom, the wi-fi service provider of SM supermalls, officially launched the wi-fi service at the mall last July 11 (Saturday). SM City Pampanga mall manager Roman Palo led the festive grand launching that featured ramp modeling, entertainment from the Chocolate Factory, website launch and promotions from www.kaberks.com and www.trendsandspots.com, and the bloggers’ competition as the highlight of the event.
Trends and Spots’ Mini Arceo was one of the judges chosen to pick the best blogger for the day. Arceo’s colleague at Punto Gitnang Luzon, the seasoned Bong Lacson was named as the chairman of the board. The winner in the said competition was Ronald Marva, a corporate executive who loves to blog and his winning piece is a story about the Lola who knows how to use the internet and the SM City Pampanga’s program for the senior citizens in connection to their wi-fi hot spot launch.

SM City Pampanga gave away cool prizes for the participating bloggers while Marva got a Nokia phone courtesy of PhilCom. The whole event was a success through the efforts of PhilCom, Palo, SM City Pampanga marketing team led by Joan Manansala, SM City Pampanga PR manager Roselle Sarmiento and the rest of the mall officers.
