Mutya Ning Angeles 2010 Candidates
The Mutya Ning Angeles 2010 beauty pageant will salute the beauty of Angelena like never before. This year’s mutya promises to bring a young, vibrant and a fresh approach in the city’s beauty pageant arena.
More than the usual royal experience, our 2010 mutya ning angeles shall take a step further and live by the pageant’s newest vision of “beauty with a purpose”.
As the newest face of the city, she will take a more active role in the local government’s various social, environmental and tourism campaigns. she will also focus on the more important issues concerning the youth.
This year’s pageant is hosted by prime personalities who are known in the field of beauty and the arts. This event is headed by angeles city’s first lady, Ms. Herminia Pamintuan, the over-all in charge for the mutya ning angeles 2010.
Mutya Ning Angeles creative team is composed of Frederick Policarpio, Gerrome Esguerra, Rommel Guina, Richard Daenos and Froilan Cruz. The same team who gave us national beauty titlists. the likes of Mutya ng Pilipinas and miss Asia Pacific’s Maricel Morales, Marilen Maristela and Darlene Carbungco!
This year’s pre pageant is on September 26, Sunday at SM Clark while the grand coronation night is slated on October 2, 2010, Saturday, 6:00 p.m. at Grand Palazzo Royale, Angeles city.
This year’s pageant is participated by 15 of the city’s most beautiful women and will compete for the crown, pride and prestige of becoming Mutya Ning Angeles.
1. ARKAY KRISTINE M. KWONG
• Age: 19 years old
• Height : 5’3’’
• Weight: 102 lbs.

• Special interest: Arkay is into dancing, swimming and writing. She wants to follow the footsteps of Mother Teresa that is, giving her selfless love for the poor. She wants to become one of the greatest ballet performers and share her talents to other fellow and less fortune people.
2. PRECIOUS ANGELLYN C. SANCHEZ
• Age: 19 years old

• Special interest: Precious is a commercial and print ad model.
3. PATRICIA ERIN FAYE Z. TIGLAO

• Special interest: Katrina is an active student leader engaged in different charitable works. She likes boyish stuff like watching basketball.
The brand-new look of SM Green Bag with vivid designs representing the four elements of environment – land, energy, water and air, which intend to inspire a life conscious and Eco friendly shopper – was celebrated simultaneously across 37 malls last August 6, 2010.

At SM City Clark, the ceremonial cutting of ribbon was led by Ms. Cecile Yumul, the spokesperson of Save the Trees Coalition, Albert Lacanlale, Editor-in-Chief of Central Luzon Newsweek and a Broadcaster of RW 95.1, Mr. Bernard Silvala – President of PAMET, Pamp Chapter, Director of Research & Development Center of RCC and Ms. Ana T. Datu, Asst Mall Manager of SM City Clark.
Also present in the event were the students, principals and teachers of Alberto Pabalan Elementary School and Rafael Lazatin High School. SM City Clark homegrown talent Jonathan Barrera of performed a pro-environment song entitled “PARAISO”.

Vice-mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting led the 112th Independence Day celebrations at SM City Clark on Saturday urging officials of the mall and mall goers to keep the spirit of fighting for freedom alive in the consciousness of the younger-generation.
Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting who led the formal flag raising ceremonies here was accompanied by top management officials of SM City Clark led by Assistant Mall Manager Ana Datu. The event was marked by a calesa parade in the vicinity of the mall and the presentation of famous Filipino patriotic songs rendered by Jonathan Barrera of AUF Performing Arts.
Honoring the flag
In her speech before the spectators, Vega-Cabigting said that the fight for freedom does not end with the yearly commemoration of the Independence Day. She said that fighting for freedom is still relevant in today’s time as the Filipino society is still plagued by social oppression of various sorts.
Ms. Ana Datu, for her part, urged tenants of the mall to contribute in their little way in promoting Filipino values in their workplace as well as in their homes.
After the program, Vice Mayor Vega and Ms. Ana T. Datu led the opening of the 6 feet by 12 feet Giant Pulburon Exhibit assisted by Mr. Rene Del Rosario at the The Event Center. The delicacy was made by the famous Sasmuan Delicacies, a local brand name famous for popularizing local native delicacies in Pampanga. (Story by SM City Clark)
SM Clark Cyberzone relaunching
Cyberzone held its relaunch last Feb 27,2010 at the second level of SM Clark
Pampanga. Hosted by Gio Respall, the event was totally outrageous with the participation of some of Angeles City’s young and energetic hiphop dancers.
The group did some, which they call, ”mop dancing” at the event center to create awareness. While dancing in front of the flock of crowd the host invited the people to participate at the second level for an hour of dancing and receive surprise gifts from stores found at the cyberzone.

Viola!At the second floor, the dance free within Cyberzone was held at both
entrances. The crowd were engrossed with the trivia questions while hopping and received some gadgets from various stores at Cyberzone.
