DUBAI: A city that makes you dream bigger

There are places you see in pictures so many times that you feel like you already know them.

Dubai was one of those places for me.

Until I finally got the chance to experience it myself.

I spent a few days in Dubai, from July 1 to 7, and honestly, it was different seeing everything with my own eyes.

Dubai is beautiful in a way that is hard to explain. The buildings, the skyline, the lights, the roads, the malls, even the smallest details around the city — everything feels grand. It is the kind of place where you can simply look around and think: “Wow, people really built all of this”.

One of the things I enjoyed most was just taking everything in. Of course, there were the places every tourist wants to see, including the breathtaking Burj Khalifa. But beyond the famous attractions, I enjoyed the simple moments too — walking around, trying different kinds of food, taking pictures, and experiencing what everyday life feels like in a city that seems to move at such a fast pace.

Dubai also surprised me with how multicultural it is. You meet people from different countries, hear different languages, and experience different kinds of food and traditions all in one place. It made the trip feel bigger than just sightseeing.

And yes, the food deserves a special mention.

Traveling is always more fun when you get to eat your way through a new place. From familiar flavors to dishes I was trying for the first time. Every meal becomes part of the experience.

But perhaps what I brought home from Dubai was more than photographs and souvenirs. It gave me a little reminder that there is a much bigger world outside the routine we sometimes get comfortable with.

Standing among the skyscrapers, seeing how much the city has grown, and witnessing what people can create with vision and determination made me think about my own dreams, too.

Dubai was one of my best finds because it was not only beautiful — it was inspiring.

I left Dubai with beautiful memories, countless photographs, and a renewed appreciation for traveling.
